Summary
The Commercial Operations Associate is part of the Career Development Program at Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. This program is a 3-year rotational program, targeted for recent graduates, that will provide broad exposure to various disciplines that contribute to the successful commercialization of our products. The program aims to foster the professional development of the incumbents through exposure to career broadening opportunities, mentorship, and involvement in strategic business initiatives. This entry-level, professional role will allow the incumbent to develop a basic understanding of the healthcare environment and the pharmaceutical industry, discovering how a drug is brought to market. The associate will learn about Daiichi Sankyo products, the disease states in which we compete and other business topics that will prepare you for your rotational assignments. Assignments will be based at our U.S Corporate Headquarters in Basking Ridge, NJ. The rotational functions include, and are not limited to, Brand Marketing, Market Research, Supply Chain and Technical Operations, Commercial Operations, and Contract Analytics.
Responsibilities
- Participate in solving critical strategic and tactical marketing issues to help brands exceed sales goals.
- Assist with the design and execution of market research studies, which includes analyzing research data.
- Help with assessing customer needs and competitive landscape, track market and disease state trends.
- Assist with developing and executing business to business marketing tactics, and creating marketing plans, determining core promotional messages.
- Assist with projects that involve quality assurance, inventory management, distribution, and customer operations for delivery of medicines.

Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required
- Master's Degree preferred or
- MBA preferred
Experience Qualifications
- 1 or More Years of previous corporate work, related professional experience, or internship experience preferred
Travel
Ability to travel up to 10% Business Travel
