The Manager of Access Services is a member of the DSI U.S. Market Access division, reporting to the Director of Access Services & Reimbursement Policy. This individual will manage the day-to-day operations of the hub, PAP, free goods pharmacy, and copay program vendors. This role will be responsible for establishing processes to optimize program operations and monitor performance, thereby ensuring that patients and providers receive the highest level of service quality. Additionally, this role will support Access Services strategy, program policy development, marketing, and technology enhancements acting as an expert in Access Services programs, procedures, and data flows across hub/PAP/copay vendors and specialty pharmacy partners. The Manager will work collaboratively and communicate effectively with commercial teams, Supply Chain, and the Field Reimbursement Team to understand patient and customer needs and develop appropriate strategies. Also, this role will work closely with the Market Access Marketing team and the Legal, Medical, & Regulatory reviewer to implement patient support programs and program collateral materials.


- Manage day-to-day operations and serve as point of contact for DSI Access Services program vendors (Hub, copay, PAP, to data needs, program resources, field escalations and inquiries, and internal reporting.
- Partner with Market Access Marketing, FRMs, and the Training team to develop necessary strategies, resources, training, and communication of Access Service Programs.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop program materials and participate in the Legal/Medical/Regulatory review process as the Access Services subject matter expert.
- Enhance patient and provider experience at the hub via FRM feedback, business, benchmarking, auditing, customer satisfaction data, and active team monitoring.
- Regularly monitor and analyze Hub platforms, processes, and program performance data and implement improvements, as needed.
- Develop and maintain, via annual review, all Access Services program SOPs, Business Rules, Workflows, Call Guides, Training, and Reports.
- Manage external vendors’ performance and internal team performance against Service-Level Agreement metrics, SOPs, and KPIs through weekly meetings/status calls, quarterly business reviews, and remediation for errors or missed KPIs (i.e., requesting CAPAs for errors, root cause analyses, etc.), if needed.
- Ensure individual and program compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies that govern the conduct of patient support programs or activities and patient privacy.

Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
- Master's Degree such as MBA or MPH preferred

Experience Qualifications

- 4 or More Years Patient Services experience working for a pharmaceutical company or vendor required
- 4 or More Years Demonstrated leadership and vendor management skills required
- 4 or More Years Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and implement operational efficiencies in processes and procedures required
- 4 or More Years Strong interpersonal skills; excellent oral and written communication skills required
- 4 or More Years Extensive knowledge of patient assistance programs and patient support needs and related compliance rules required
- 4 or More Years Experience working with programs that support all insurance coverage situations (medical and pharmacy benefit designs) required
- 4 or More Years Knowledge of CRM platforms and online communication resources (e.g. provider portals, digital enrollment) required
- 4 or More Years Strong organizational and project management skills with proven ability to multi-task and collaborate cross-functionally and influence without authority required
- 4 or More Years Experience independently leading projects with comfort presenting project deliverables to groups of cross-functional partners required required
- 4 or More Years Experience with data analysis and evaluation. required
- 4 or More Years Experience working with infused and oral oncology patient support programs preferred
- 4 or More Years Experience working with specialty product launches preferred
- 4 or More Years Experience in Rare Disease and/or Oncology preferred
- 4 or More Years Experience working with specialty pharmacies preferred
- 4 or More Years General familiarity with buy and bill reimbursement work flows preferred


Ability to travel up to 20% Occasional overnight travel required
