Summary

This position will be an integrated member of the US-based Corporate Communications function responsible for planning and managing global external and internal communications across assigned Daiichi Sankyo oncology medicines.


Responsibilities

- Support planning and managing the development and execution of pre-launch, launch and post-launch corporate communications strategies and programs for specific approved and/or potential future indications of assigned Daiichi Sankyo oncology medicine(s)
- Provide writing and editing support for various communications materials (press releases, QAs, fact sheets, internal communications, corporate presentations) for external, internal and/or digital/social media use, including proper referencing and securing appropriate internal approvals as appropriate. Understand how each communication fits into the larger corporate narrative.
- Oversee media monitoring reporting and tracking KPIs
- Ensure internal corporate communications department procedure and process documents are continuously updated
- Partner with global and regional corporate communications colleagues as needed to plan and manage assigned projects
- Build, collaborate and maintain strong network of cross-functional and cross-regional teams across all levels of the company outside of corporate communications function including but not limited investor relations, RD, global and US medical affairs and marketing, legal, regulatory and congress planning

Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)

- Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline required

Experience Qualifications

- 4 or More Years Experience in a corporate, product or internal communications position required
- 4 or More Years Experience direct responsibility for external/internal communications content development and strategy support required
- 1 or More Years Experience in oncology or pharmaceutical communications preferred

Travel

Ability to travel up to 5%. This position will need to periodically travel globally and in the U.S. for internal and external meetings and conferences, including medical conferences, company meetings and stakeholder engagement.
