We are currently seeking a Finance Intern for the Summer of 2023. This full time position works for approximately 37.5 hours per week. The intern will assist in the implementation of financial systems strategy, business consultancy, solution architecture, and program/project management and will be accountable for the following:
Performance/Reporting
- Generate novel performance reporting / dashboarding that tells a story
- Any automation / bot implementation that can drive efficiency and save the team time
Planning/Forecasting
- Forecast R&D project costs (cost centers) taking into account underlying assumptions & drivers
- Analyze R&D investment and visualize and to intuitively explain to sr. leaders.
Headcount/Personnel Costs/Alliance FTEs
- Explain headcount variances and correlation to personnel cost variances
- Support team on headcount management process with key business partners

Education/Experience:
- Qualified candidates must currently be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or related field.
- Prior experience in a corporate business environment is preferred; experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of informatics principles and practical application, including various data standards.
