Summary

The Senior Director, US Marketing, Oncology will lead the development and execution of US commercialization strategies and plans in support of the assigned inline oncology product. This position will lead and direct product teams for the assigned indication and is responsible for the associated revenue and expenses. The Senior Director, US Marketing, Oncology will also serve as the commercial lead on the integrated product team for the assigned late stage product and will work cross functionally with clinical development, USMA, regulatory affairs, Business Operations, Sales and other colleagues to maximize the commercial success of the product at launch and throughout its' lifecycle. The Senior Director, US Marketing, Oncology may be required to work with an alliance partner. This role will also be responsible for managing the extended Brand team in the US and the development of US specific strategies and tactics and associated A&P budget.

Responsibilities

- Working with a cross-functional team and an alliance partner (if applicable) to initiate and lead market development activities for the late stage product across multiple indications. Appropriately manage vendors utilized in the execution of market development activities.
- Lead the development and maintenance of US marketing and commercialization plans for the late stage product. Plan to include, but not limited to: communication strategies, product positioning, messaging, promotional plans, sales and demand forecasts, life-cycle plan, go-to-market approaches, training plans, customer segmentation, incentive compensation strategies and targeting.
- Serve as the Team Leader across functions. Lead the cross-functional team and provide appropriate direction and manage the implementation of the marketing and commercialization plans for the late stage product. Lead the decision making structure and meeting cadence, working with an assigned project manager. Accountable for the communication with senior management and adhering to the launch blueprint (where applicable).

Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)
- Bachelor's Degree required
- MBA preferred


Experience Qualifications
- 10 or More Years overall related experience within the pharmaceuticals industry required
- 4 or More Years Oncology marketing experience required
- 7 or More Years pharmaceutical product management experience preferred
- Oncology product launch experience preferred
- Prior people management experience preferred
- International \ Global marketing experience preferred
- Previous experience working in an alliance preferred
- Sales, sales management experience preferred
- Strong financial and analytical skills preferred
- Thorough understanding of the commercial evaluation process preferred
- Strategic and operational marketing experience preferred
- Ability to operate effectively and efficiently on cross-functional, multi-national teams. preferred
- Understanding of scientific issues as they impact product development and commercialization preferred

Ability to travel up to 40%
