Summary
Responsible for the delivery of HRBP support for one or more sub-groups of the DSI Enterprise by providing consultancy to key leaders and leadership teams with a focus on Workforce Planning, Talent Management, Change Management and OD. Client responsibility of moderate complexity and scope. This role will be supporting some functions within Research & Development.
Responsibilities
Responsible for HRBP support for one or more sub-groups of the DSI enterprise by providing consultancy to key leaders and leadership teams with a focus on Workforce Planning, Talent Management and OD.
Will execute the following functions:
- Understands and is clearly able to articulate the financial and scientific elements of the Daiichi Sankyo business strategy.
- Understands and uses analytics to identify the business needs and priorities and the associated talent trends, challenges and opportunities
- Supports implementation of the Daiichi Sankyo and R&D people strategy through partnership with R&D leaders and HR center of excellence teams.
- In partnership with senior leaders, accountable for building a diverse talent pipeline for critical roles
- Provides expert advice and support for organization design and change management to business leaders
- Identifies, analyzes issues and opportunities which are within established policies and procedures and engages stakeholders to gain alignment and endorsement of solutions.
- Builds the Daiichi Sankyo workforce plan to increase the skills, engagement and productivity of the workforce to meet current and future business needs
- Ensures a consistent approach to all talent processes (performance management, talent management, learning development, succession planning) is applied across designated business areas
- Proactively identifies and provides solutions to client issues and challenges
- Ensures all transactional questions are directed to the Solution Delivery team
- Actively seeks to ensure alignment of the HR People Strategy and Business Strategy.
- Identifies, defines and analyzes course (s) of action within established procedures and policies and engages stakeholders to gain alignment and endorsement.
- Leads projects of moderate to large scope.
Qualifications: Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in HR Management or a related field required
- Master's Degree or other advanced preferred
Experience Qualifications
- Must have 7 or more years HR experience with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in pharma and/or bio-tech industries required.
- Must have broad HR knowledge and demonstrated ability to partner with key HR COE's to deliver the right solutions for your client groups.
- Must have an account management mindset with the ability to influence others and build strong working relationships.
