Summary
The Manager, Global Oncology Strategic Planning leads the Consolidation of Revenue Forecasts from Regional and Global Forecasting teams to enable the delivery of Global Oncology Revenue Forecasts and other Portfolio Analytics. The role will be responsible for the development and maintenance of a Data Repository for Revenue and NPV models along with key Forecast assumptions that enables key Business Planning processes such as Mid Term Plan (MTP), Long Term planning, and 3 Year Rolling Forecast. The position will also be responsible for producing reporting updates on Mid Term (5 year) and Long-Term Forecast updates (10 to 15 Years) while also analyzing how DS In Line and Pipeline assets will co-exist within Tumor/Disease areas of focus. The position will assist Strategic Planning team with analysis of key macro-Forecast assumptions at a Tumor/Disease level and R&D team on tracking Forecasts/NPVs/Other assumptions that support Pipeline prioritization decision making. The successful candidate must be able to build trustworthy business relationships with multiple internal stakeholders, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong skills in Excel and Database management and Reporting.
Responsibilities
- Business Planning Support: Enable the production of Mid and Long Term Global Forecasts by leading and driving Forecast consolidation via projections from Alliance Aligned Forecast (AF), 3 Year Rolling Forecast (3RF), and Pipeline Prioritization from Regional and Global Forecasting teams via the development and maintenance of a Database of Forecasts with the ability to produce Reporting and ad hoc analytics.
- Forecast Assumption Tracking – Ensure that Key Forecast Assumptions can be tracked via Database/repository with the ability to produce reporting on key Macro assumptions (EPI, Competitive Landscape, Current Market Trends) across all Regional and Global Forecasts, as well as other Product specific assumptions to enable comparative analysis. Analytics/reporting
- KPI reporting – Build capability to track actual results/Forecast updates versus MTP and Long Term planning projects to enable triggers for Strategic Planning decision making.
- Understanding the Market: Continuously monitor global market trends including multichannel communication and competitive intelligence relevant for the DS Oncology pipeline compounds launched brands, and ensure ad hoc analysis can be performed to assess impact of key events that would be material to DS Oncology short and long term Revenue projections.

Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)
- Bachelor's Degree in health sciences, business or marketing required
- MBA or other advanced degree is strongly preferred
Experience Qualifications
- 4 or More Years in Forecasting, and/or Secondary Analytical experience in Pharma/Biotech along with experience creating/maintaining Databases required
- 1 or More Years Oncology or hematology experience preferred
- International business experiences such as having worked in multiple regions and/or worked as Global Team member preferred
Travel
Ability to travel up to 20% Global & Domestic travel
